Madison Reed, a hair care startup, combines high-quality products with high-tech innovation. They asked us to help brand a new line of hair care products to reflect the premium nature of the ingredients within. Their original brand design was complicated and a little rustic. To compete with other premium products in the market, we pushed for a minimal design style that spoke to the simplicity of the ingredients. Our designs also alluded to the company’s simple technology that helps women find the best product for their needs. In the end, the design system solved a number of problems for Madison Reed thanks to a simple identification system and color coding for various product types, as well as a sophisticated style that would serve them well as the company evolved.
